The COVID-19 Surveillance Report is published every Thursday with data from across the state of Tasmania and dated up to the end of the previous week.
Although the Department of Health has published daily COVID-19 case numbers for some time, the weekly Surveillance Report provides more detail about characteristics, distribution, and trends.
The purpose of the report is to keep Tasmanians informed in relation to COVID-19.
The Weekly Surveillance Report covers case numbers, infection rates, hospitalisations and vaccination uptake, including data about ages and regions, trends over time and the latest reporting from the previous week.
