The Department of Health is aware of technical issues with the Check in TAS app, affecting some users.
The issue appears when users are attempting to scan a business’ QR code and instead get an error message.
The technical support team are investigating as a matter of urgency. An estimated time for the issue to be resolved is unknown.
For those users who are experiencing this error, we ask that you continue checking in using one of the following options:
- Getting others in your group to check in for you
- Asking the business to check you in on their device (if available)
- Manually checking in with pen and paper.
Users may get a message asking them to open the app so that pending check ins can upload. You can ignore this message as all offline data will upload once the issue is resolved.
