COVID-19 exposure sites in Tasmania Update

15 Nov 2021

Public Health have updated information in relation to the declared COVID exposure sites in Tasmania after a man, who tested positive for COVID-19, arrived in Tasmania yesterday (15 November).

The updates include revising the primary close contact and casual contact areas on the flight and in the airport at the time the positive case was present. An additional primary close contact site has also been identified at the airport.

For full details on the amended and additional sites see exposure sites. Please continue to check the list of exposure sites regularly in case further additions need to be made following contact tracing.

Anyone who was at any of the sites identified, should isolate immediately and arrange a COVID-19 test via the Public Health Hotline on 1800 671 738.

All people in Tasmania are reminded to monitor themselves for any cold or flu-like symptoms and to get tested, regardless of whether they were at the identified exposure sites. To organise a test, please call the Public Health Hotline on 1800 671 738.
