Four students from two southern primary schools who are close contacts of a current COVID-19 case have returned negative test results.
The Department of Education has confirmed the students were collected from school and tested yesterday afternoon, after being identified as close contacts. Public Health has determined that while currently low risk, the contacts will remain in quarantine.
Public Health has advised that no further action is required at the schools.
Anyone experiencing even the mildest symptoms should get tested as soon as possible and school communities are reminded to remain vigilant with COVID-safe behaviours.
