Tasmania’s COVID-19 response transition

22 Oct 2021

The Tasmanian Government today launched the roadmap for the Tasmanian plan to transition from the current local COVID-19 Response.

The plan sets out the government’s path to opening while also preserving the health system and ensuring Tasmanians can still get the healthcare they need. Developed based on modelling from the Kirby Institute, the roadmap is set against COVID-19 thresholds including hospitalisation rates, and the vaccination targets already identified in the National Plan to transition Australia's National COVID-19.
