The Hobart testing clinic located at Macquarie Point in Hobart will also be open daily 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.  Bookings are essential for this clinic. To book a COVID-19 test, call the team at the Public Health Hotline on 1800 671 738 or, go to Testing for COVID-19 and select ‘register online’.

We encourage everyone in the Hobart community with any cold or flu-like symptoms, even mild, to come and get tested for COVID-19 especially if you live in the northern suburbs of Hobart.

Symptoms include fever, runny nose, cough, sore or itchy throat and shortness of breath or loss of taste or smell. If you are concerned – get tested and remain isolated until you get your negative result.

Even if you are vaccinated, you need to get tested if you have symptoms.

Getting tested at all clinics is free.

Once you have had your test, stay at home and wait for your results

To find out more about testing options in your area, go to Testing for COVID-19.
