An Australian resident who arrived in Tasmania on a repatriation flight from the UK on Sunday has been moved to the Royal Hobart Hospital for treatment for a non-respiratory medical condition.

The 33-year old man was transferred from the Ibis Hotel late yesterday afternoon and is being cared for at the hospital all under strict isolation protocols.

He was tested yesterday for COVID-19 and returned a negative result.
