If you’ve been told to quarantine, you must stay at the location where you have been directed by Public Health Services, the Deputy State Controller or an authorised officer, for the amount of time you have been told to.
Depending on your situation, this may be a suitable premises (your home or another approved location) or a government-managed quarantine facility (usually a designated hotel).

Depending on your risk, you may need to quarantine in a government-managed quarantine facility (often a designated hotel)
Suitable premises (Home quarantine)
If approved as a suitable premises, you may undertake your quarantine at a private residence or your home. You may not leave the premises during quarantine unless for an approved reason
